I have just finished browsing your blog and website.  It is a delight to learn more about you.  I will take time later "in" your gallery.  Oh, I found something interesting.  I spent three years in Cincinnati, OH, in the mid 60's.  I lived in the College Hill area.  I loved the large hills and  tall trees.  The wind blows too much in OK for trees to grow very tall.

 

On your blog I read what you posted about the Samples.  I found no more information than you already have, when I went to the OK History Center.  The only Samuel Alexander Samples I could find was the one born in Ireland in 1755.  You do good research, keep it up. 

 

I continue to look for William's (H?) whereabouts after his father died in Farnham, VA, and his will called for his wife to sell their land there to pay for land he secured in Nottoway  Parish, VA.  I will share whatever I find.
