Maybe I'm dumb, but it has certainly taken me a long time to figure out how to access Maryland information online. Today, I hit the jackpot. In my seemingly endless search for the parents of William Wrighter Brannan (I use the 'an' form of the surname because that's how I saw his son Thomas P.'s headstone spelling in Arnoldsburg, WV), I discovered the Maryland Archives Online! Fabulous resource, and I cannot wait to tackle it just now. Will get back to you with my findings . . .
